Connecting patients with health care providers from the confort of their home.
Problem
Elderly people constantly need care and attention from healthcare providers. However, they are not able to drive and see Doctors in person most of the time.
Solution
Remote Care was created to provide a more effective remote health tool with the goal of connecting patients with health care providers from the confort of their home.
My Role
In this seven week long project, I worked as a UX Designer for the Remote Care Project. I did user research, created customer journey, defined the personas and competitors, created the design and prototype in Figma.

Competitors
One of the main competitors are Samsung Health App. Samsung Health App tracks diet, sleep and physical activity. However, the app does not offer a way to communicate with a Health Provider.
Another competitor is Pill Time Tracker. Pill Time Tracker allows the user to keep track of medication intake, notifications and reminders. However, the app does not offer a way to communicate with a Health Provider.
Prototype created in Figma - User Flow for Patients
For this prototype, I used warm colors, since elderly people are not able to distinguish between blues and greens. I created a Vitals page where the patients can track their vitals. A chat system to connect the patient with the doctor. A notification page to help patients with reminders about their medication, vitals and messages from doctors.

For this prototype, I created a dashboard for Health Care providers so they can keep track of their patients. They can track patient vitals, medications and patient information. A chat page to communicate and send messages to patients. A notifications page to keep track of abnormal vitals signs or missed medications.
